How was Etik Plast born?
After having served long in the sales and marketing sectors, we have set off on our path along with the contributions and guidance of our very valuable fellows, who were long years active in the plastics-cable sector.
What were your goals and targets while setting off?
These were to bring innovation to the cable and plastic production sector, to bring toı Turkey products not tried before, decreasing the costs, increasing and maintaining the quality and thus to contribute to the sector and to convert our customers competitive in terms of price and quality against their competitors.
Well, at which point are you now with regards to your goals and targets?
The fact that our products attracted the attention of the largest companies of the sector with regards to their quality and specifications, that their quality, distinction and contribution they provided to the products they were used in after the conduct of trial productions, and that these gained the faith of the customers and started being used continuously, encouraged us. Beside this, that some of our target products we introduced to the market have cost decreasing features while maintaining the quality and that this situation was confirmed by the largest companies of the sector, ensured that our company, which is very young, reached its initial targets within a short term of 2 years.
Would you tell us something about your product range?
Primarily, “EFAME” ( Epoxy Fatty Acids Methyl Ester), an alternative plasticizer, is a product, which ensures serious gains in terms of costs without deteriorating the quality when it is added to the recipe at an amount deducted by decreasing the usage quantity of the used main plasticizer by 30%. Our ESO (Epoxy Soybean Oil) and CEBE (Compounded Epoxy Biologic Ester) products are auxiliary plasticizers bearing similar features, too. These products are being produced by CinaCorp, one of the largest manufacturers of China. CinaCorp is also specialized in the field of inflators and main plasticizers. We, as Etik Plast, are their Turkey representative. In addition, our products include also cables, plastics and suitable products for the metal casting sectors of other companies we are representing. These are laminated phlogophite mica tapes, anti-termite, anti-rodent tapes, all nonwoven or woven tapes used in the cable sector, products like yarn fillers and also products like Flake Graphite and graphite roll. Beside this, we have had the opportunity to indentify the sector based deficiencies and needs during our one-to-one contacts with companies in this short term of our presence in the sector. As it known by everyone, mainly diamond and carbide are being used in the sector at conductor twisting. We have concentrated on NANO ROLLS due to that the price of diamond rolls is very high and the lifetime of carbide rolls is very short. As a result of our searches, we have also undertaken the Turkey representation of the company ”ANCHMOLD” and expanded our ETIKPLAST representation network. Finally, what are your goals for 2018?
We, as Etikplast, will sustain our innovative approach by maintaining the quality of the products we supplied until present and following the developments in the sector. While continuing to contribute to the sector, we will also be in search for products in order to increase the quality at lower costs. We will endeavour to analyze the requests from our customers and to conduct the necessary searches and to provide failure-free and timely services towards the needs.
