Can you provide information on product variety, technology, customers and employment situation of Yılmaz Plastik Company?
We are in the plastics industry since 1991 until present. Yılmaz Plastik has been established with the target of asding quality to its current quality and achieving continuous improvement and success since 2004 until today with each and every passing day.
Yılmaz Plastik always strives to offer the quality for its customers together with molds which are able to manufacture all kind of spools especially plastic injection machinery and plastic enameled bobbin wire spools at the highest quality and having the cutting edge technology of Europe, being active from 80 tons to 1000 tons and has adopted development as its mission without compromising on quality.
Yılmaz Plastik follows technological developments closely and uses the cutting edge technologies at production, production control, quality control and post-production processes control phases. We are proud of instantly meeting our customers’ demands and wishes by taking technological support and of being at service of copper wire manufacturers, cable manufacturers and sellers, thread and rope manufacturers, chain rope manufacturers which use all kind of plastic spools. Our personnel specialized in their field adopted the approach “the top quality, always quality” and pursuant to this principle we aim and consider as our duty to be a strict follower of our business from manufacturing to consumption.
As is in all sectors, sustaining success has a great importance in your sector as well. What kind of activities do you carry out?
We, as Yılmaz Plastik believe that the most difficult thing is to ensure permanence of success rather than attaining success. To ensure sustainability of success, firstly deviations between the first production and last production of our products should be eliminated. A company which considers quality in production as its duty should attach importance to quality on corporate basis rather than individuality and each production worker should receive required training in order to prevent quality fluctuations. rrangement of production processes, follow up of processes during production and conformity of our product with the first process when production ends are implemented by our specialized staff.
Our operators aware of their responsibility and knowledgeable about how they can support technological injection machinery at which stage, are executors of Yılmaz Plastik’s quality strategy like the first day and guarantee of our success’ sustainability.
Finally, control of our spools manufactured and whose quality is ensured has been carried out by our testing device following production. Tension and stress testing of spools having strength up to 5000 kg are carried out and we strive to prevent any problem which may be encountered by our customers before they leave our manufacturing facility and we are informed of all problems. Results obtained by our production testing devices are transmitted to our customers and they are kept informed on resistance period and strength of used spools. All of these works are for being successful and ensuring sustainability at the point we succeed.
We are in an atmosphere where market share increasingly decreases and competition is very tough. As a company, what are your works to expand your market share, to increase your sales and profitability?
Extraordinary movement in Turkish and world market as well as economic fluctuations cause interruptions in our business as is in all sectors. Decrease of market shares pushes us, as Yılmaz Plastik to seek for new solutions and new markets. Our staff already specialized in plastics field encourage us to seek for other plastic production ways except spools.
Since technological developments make the world smaller, the thought that as Yılmaz Plastik “we should offer our quality to the world market” became dominant. We have saluted world’s competitive market as well as added new markets within Yılmaz Plastik by finding new export ways and offering our spools at highest quality standards to the world.
Yılmaz Plastik is highly proud of offering improved plastic bobbin wire spools throughout Turkey and taking its quality to each corner of Turkey. Our current target is to introduce Yılmaz Plastik’s quality and to ensure usage by the world.
Are knowledge and skills of employees in Turkish plastic spool sector regarding the sector enough?
In Turkey, especially in Denizli it is almost impossible to find qualified personnel in plastic spool field. Today, in Turkish market, lack of knowledge arising from confined space of plastic spool market is a huge problem to overcome.
As Yılmaz Plastik, first of all we make production at ISO 9001 standards in order to serve to plastic spool sector in the best way. Our company implements rules of production standards at the level higher than national standards namely by observing methods applied by the world and furthermore, by thinking how to make it better, succeeded to keep its quality continuously at the highest level by collecting all cross protection, alarm, technology systems and documentary data for the production line. We consider working with the best trained and specialized plastic spool foremen as a requirement. Therefore, we ensure primarily training of workers having knowledge about plastics and their adaptation to plastic spool production. The most important stages of our training are to inform them about all kind of plastics, to make them knowledgeable about each stage of production and to make them able to comment on quality levels of manufactured spools, fluctuations and control mechanism at each stage. Plastic spool sector requires a little bit more specialization comparing to other sectors.
