WE WILL IMPROVE CONFIDENCE IN DOMESTIC PRODUCTION

KABKOM stands as a private enterprise investing in production speed-up and technology as well as placing emphasis on branding. By intending to eliminate the dependence on foreign sources, KABKOM General Director Erdem Eker points out that the company would improve confidence in domestic production.
Initiated with an idea during 2011, KABKOM A.Ş. has been founded originally in 2013 with the company headquarters located in Istanbul. Since then, the company serves customers with its modern manufacturing facility and qualified staff. The company also places emphasis on branding process in addition to its investments in production speed-up and technology.
PROVIDING RAPID PROCUREMENT
Underlined the primary purpose to eliminate financial and technical problems in the products supplied by foreign resources, KABKOM General Director Erdem Eker continued: “If raw materials are supplied abroad, the cable manufacturer makes advance payment prior to the delivery although the lead time is quite long. Thus, the manufacturer maintains excessive stocks. Furthermore, the feedbacks also take long time in case of any problem in the quality of stocked products. In order to eliminate such problems and meet the entire cable compound demand in Turkey and Middle East, we conduct research and development activities as well as to work for increasing production capacity.”
INVESTING IN R&D
KABKOM operates quality control processes on 7/24 basis with 55 employees consisting of 15 engineers. The company maintains its investments in quality control and R&D laboratory as well as to increase production capacity. As the investments started bringing positive results, Eker added: “The patent works continue for various products in accordance with Brazil and European Union approved projects. In the scope of this project, we intend to increase diversity in tests and analyses for improving low density HFFR compounds with high LOI rate. Similarly, we aim to provide infrastructure for accreditation process by receiving ISO 17025 Laboratory Quality Assurance Certification. Thus, international support and assistance would be improved together with confidence in domestic manufacturers standing as Turkey’s greatest disadvantage. We are proud to develop a compound meeting Turkish and European CPR Building Regulations.”
