Could you please shortly introduce your company to us?
ERAT TELEKOM which is one of the leading producers of fiber optic connectors and accessories has been founded in 1998 for the purpose of carrying out fiber optic cable installation works and fiber optic cable additional installation works.
Our company has made a very rapid development in the course of time and developed a very wide product range that addresses the whole of the telecommunication sector by realizing the production of products such a fiber optic interconnection cables, Pigtail Patch Cord, Copper data Patch Cord cable, fiber optic connection equipment and all kinds of fiber optic accesories in its own premises. Production activities are carried out by a team of approximately 65 specialists using state of the art machinery in the the integrated premises located on a total area of 5000 m2 with a close area of 3000 m2 in accordance with ISO 9001 standarts, taking into consideration ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
ISO quality certificates which have been issued by the national and international inspection companies as a result of periodical inspections is the expression of the confidence shown to ERAT TELEKOM brand and products. Besides the products produced according to international and local standarts ERAT TELECOM is also able to realize tailor-made production according to the specifications given by and the demands of the customers.
We ensure the delivery of high-quality products to the customers by testing the products through modern tesr devices at every stage ıof production and especially during the final controls. ERAT TELEKOM which has adopted the slogan of “Production with the speed of fiber” and offers the ERAT brand to the domestic as well as international market with its experience of 20 years and high-quality products has made that brand an esteemed one, which is preferred in more than 12 countries.. What kind of different advantages do you provide for your customers in comparison to your competitors that offer the same products ?
1 – QUALITY: Customer satisfaction which is our main objective is ensured by means of the 6 SIGMA criteria consisting of total quality management, 55 system and operational excellence approach and aims at unconditional customer satisfaction.
Besdes, unlike many other companies, the connectors are subjected to tests such as heat interval , high/low heat resistance, resistance to high humidity level , vibration test, tensile test, connection resistance and geometrical measurement test by using the sampling method before the start of production. We perform our production activities with a flawless workmanship as well as by using material which are totally in compliance with the world standarts for all optic fiber elements, namely ANSI, TIA/EIA-568-B.3, EIA-568/A, IEC 60874 and ISO 11801 criteria. Besides, in addition to the cerification of the components used in production, our company has made the applications for TSE and ISO cerifications of its finished products and we are now at the final stage for obtaining the result of those applications.
2-PRICE:: The level of efficiency and process based approach that we have reached thanks to our investment in technology and expertise in our field of business as well as our optimum cost policy ensures us to let the right product meet the customer with the the right price.
3-TECHNOLOGY: All Pig Tails and Patch Cords, which we produce without touching human hands using the state of the art equipment are offered to our costomers after having been subjected to OTDR measurements in our quality laboratories and after controlling the connections of their connectors with 400X special fiber microscopes. Since the db measurements and losses are recorded within the criteria determined by the world standarts during these tests we are able to offer the same standart to our domestic and foreign customers in all product groups.
4- CAPACITY: : Erat Telekomünikasyon is able to realize production in high serial amounts or project based package production depending on the demands of the customers thanks to its flexible production capabilities
5-SHIPMENT: Our products which arrive at our packaging unit, which is cleaned of dust and other external factors, from our laboratories are packaged by specialized personnel who uses special protective gear. Measurement values belonging to the product are stated inside all packagings and the polished picture of the connector is placed just near the barcode on the package. Besides carrying out routine shipments we can also meet the urgent orders in time thanks to the system that we call RCS (Rabbit Cargo System ) for the sake of ensuring the unconditional satisfaction of our costomers

Quality and solidity is of capital importance especially in field applications as far as all products mentioned above are concerned. However what is not to be forgotten and is maybe the most important point is the degree of expertise of the team which makes the application. Besides being the one and only company which has more than 10 field application teams in Turkey Erat Telekomünikasyon maintains its leadership in its sector with its continiously developing technology and unrivalled quality in the field of application.
What can you say about your plans for the coming period ?
