Our company launched the activities thereof in 2015 with a slow start. The vast majority of our clients are White Goods and Durable Goods companies. As such, our production which accelerated after the 2nd month in line with the planned production currently came to the highest point and we are working day and night continuously. We achieved our planned targets in terms of earnings and this makes us very happy.
What kind of a production schedule did you create for the economic process in 2015 and could you achieve your goals?
The negative occurrences in the cable industry since the beginning of the year due to the exchange rate fluctuations of course affect us. There was no failure in the production process we targeted and we delivered our highest quality cable production to our customers regularly according to the orders placed and on the desired dates. Currently our capacity is 88% full and we achieved our goals which we set for the first half of 2015. We targeted new works and productions and we will apply all our plans until the year end.
We have achieved the following goals;
1.We have commissioned the production of PVC-NYAF single-core cable according to the White Goods and Automotive Cables Standard. We have commissioned laboratory works and our quality cable production continues. We have commissioned our 1.b – 90ºC and 105ºC PVC Macaron lines and its production is performed uninterruptedly.
How does fluctuations such as euro/dollar, raw material supply and etc. experienced in the economy affect your company? How do these fluctuations reflect to your consumers? Did your consumers have any losses?
Our company experienced some troubles due to economic fluctuations and about shortage of raw materials and supply from abroad from time to time but we got through these situations seamlessly by working with our alternative suppliers. We did not experience any negative situation as to our raw material and equipment supplies
from the world suppliers. There was a small increase in our cost of course, but the negotiations we did our with our clients on these issues always had positive results and in addition to not losing any customers our search for new customers was positive and we gained new customers.
There are companies closing or slowing their works in the cable industry is going, what is your comment on this?
Our company is continues to work in a way to have the least damage to our costs by considering the fluctuations in the economy and we are sorry of course to hear companies that reduce their works or close their businesses in the cable industry. We like to consider our industry as an industry consisting of companies which are always successful and which manage their works in the best way.
The cable industry, which is the backbone of Turkey’s economy is not in a very bad condition and will not be affected by economic difficulties. First and foremost, we continue every effort to avoid losing customers with our team. The cable sector seems likely to continue its works with minimum profit in spite of instability and fluctuations in the economy. After all, this development process is due to its having a large share in the economy.
How did your earning-capacity rate develop in the first six months of 2015, did it go forward or backwards? What are your plans and thoughts for the second six months?
Our company launched the activities thereof in 2015 with a slow start. The vast majority of our clients are White Goods and Durable Goods companies. We achieved our planned targets in terms of earnings and this makes us very happy. We make production for the automotive industry regularly and our production continues at the same pace in this period. We have raised the bar of our target a little more for the 2nd six months, launched our new plans and we look forward to having a good year.
We expect the Euro/Dollar fluctuations in the economy to become stagnant in the shortest time.
We are having quite a sensitive period currently and desire the establishment of the government and normalization of the markets at once like all other companies.
