Could you provide us information about the corporate identity of your company’s Santeks Makine?
SANTEKS, founded in 2003, was originally established to meet a lacking need in our country. This was bringing together the foreign-bases producers which produced machines for textile machinery sector using high technology and the buyers who needed these machines. Our aim is to meet all the requirements of textile producers as to all kinds of textile machinery and spare parts demands thereof.
Our entire team structure, including the management staff, consists of young and dynamic members particularly specialized in the field of textile machinery. Furthermore, we opened our Uzbekistan/Tashkent office in 2008 to increase our exports to Turkic Republics. We are exporting our “Boosan” and “Santeks” brands to these countries and providing services under these brands.
What types of products do you produce? Could You Explain Us the Characteristics of Your Products?
We already mentioned that our aim is to meet all the requirements of textile producers as to all kinds of textile machinery and spare parts demands thereof. Accordingly, we have high-tech textile machines produced abroad and carry out the sales thereof to our domestic and international customers in line with this target. We can classify our activities in three groups to this end.
– Sales of Textile Machinery
– After Sales Spare Parts Services
– After Sales Maintenance And Repair Services
Our product groups, under the main title of Textile Machinery, are as follows 1) Knitting Machinery 2) Collar Machinery 3) Lace Machinery 4) Tres Cable and Rope Machinery.
This product group is updated every year in line with market and customer requirements. For example we formed a new product range for the cable manufacturers under the “Henghui” brand in 2016. This machine model attracts great interest.
What is your position in the market? What are your market development activities?
We are in the top 3 in the market in textile machinery sales and service sector. Our energy increases each and every passing day. Santeks Makine Customer Relations Management includes the process starting from machine design to after sales. In this context, our company has launched the “Technical Team” application to meet the requirements and demands of our clients after the machine sales. Our technical team visits our clients to meet all kinds of requests and carries out breakdown and repair works. This application was our first application in terms of Market Development activity. Our aim was not being limited to our existing client portfolio. Our new application improved our client portfolio.
Our updating and varying our textile machinery products groups basing on market and customer requirements at the end of each year improves our client portfolio. We offer new/renewed products to our existing customer portfolio. We can show our JP 612A – Lycra System Flat Knitting Collar Machine, which we started selling recently within our COLLAR machine group as an example. This model is very popular among our existing clients. And naturally: “New Markets”… We focused on increasing our exports as a company policy. In this context, we hit the road with the slogan of “New Destination Africa” in 2016. Our Ministry of Economy’s “Destination Countries Export List” became our guide. We launched a work for Ethiopia and Kenya. We attended the ASWF Africa Sourcing & Fashion Week fair on 4-7 October 2016. We received new orders and established a country representation office for Ethiopia. Furthermore, we will join the Kenya International Textile Fair to be held in Kenya/Nairobi in May 2017 and we will establish a new country representation for here.
Could You Explain us the Position and Importance of Your Company in Turkey and Foreign Markets?
We are in the top 3 in the market of textile machinery sales and service sector. We sell high technology textile machines in Turkey and countries to where we export and these activities please our customers. Being the pioneer of Advanced Technology makes us happy.
To be competitive in international markets is not based on price; it is based on value- oriented production: Would you share the way your company follows in this regard with our readers?
We are following the way of “Distinctness” with an eye to be one step ahead of the competition; Distinctness in “Machinery and Technology”, Distinctness in “Service” and Distinctness in ” Spare Parts “. For example, we achieved distinctness in “Service” thanks to our “Technical Team” application. Currently our clients can reach us at any time, which increases client satisfaction.
