R&D Center Certificate for Prysmian Group Turkey

Prysmian Group Turkey of the Prysmian Group, the worldwide leader of energy and telecommunication cables sector, attended the summit held on 27-28 September within the framework of ‘Development with R&D and Innovation’ at Ankara Presidential Complex and received ‘R&D Center Certificate’. The R&D center, which is the first and only in the Turkish Cable Sector and located in Prysmian Group Mudanya factory, is one of the 17 R&D centers within Prysmian Group, which is the leader with respect to cable production and materials technology on the international platform. The Center, which has the most comprehensive design, innovation and product development infrastructure in Turkish cable sector and has been registered as a R&D center by the Ministry of Science Industry and Technology in 2015, consists of 6 sections, on a land area of 5 thousand square meters. Design and Innovation Office with Process Design and Prototype Development Offices are also available in the Center which includes Materials Technologies Laboratory, Combustion Test Laboratory, Energy Cables Test Laboratory and Telekom and Fiber Cables Test Laboratory.
‘We will continue to work on environmentallyconscious new products and systems’ Prysmian Group Turkey CEO Erkan Aydoğdu, who expressed their great pride in receiving the R&D Center Certificate, also said that they will continue to work on environmentally-conscious new products and systems, by pioneering the innovation and development. Aydoğdu said that; “Our R&D Center located in our Mudanya factory is one of the 17 R&D Centers within Prysmian Group, which is the leader of cable production and materials technology on the international platform. We keep on achieving projects with high added values using new technologies at our Center. We continue to work with a great desire an enthusiasm in line with our mission ‘We Connect Turkey to Tomorrows’, together with our every employee in our offices, worksites, factory.
Consequently, we are receiving positive outcomes of every step taken. We will continue our works with the same desire and enthusiasm with R&D Center Certificate that we have received with great pleasure.” While Prysmian Group Turkey, which has made many investments until now since 1964 in order to increase technology and production capacity, is able to produce 22.000 different cables at its factory in Mudanya, keeps on providing matchless and superior services to all customers by making ‘’Turnkey’ projects for these cables.
