PRYSMIAN GROUP TURKEY’S NEW ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF HAVE BEEN ASSIGNED!
Halil Kongur becomes new Chairman of Board of Directors and Erkan Aydoğdu has been assigned as the new CEO.
New assignments have been madefor Board of Directors of the Prysmian Group Turkey which is Turkish operation of the World’s leading cable manufacturer Prysmian Group. Hans Hoegstedt as Prysmian Group Turkey’s CEO successfully accomplishing great progresses and renovations for the group within the last 3,5 years has been promoted as CEO of the factory located in Italy where the company’s headquarters is domiciled while Halil İbrahim Kongur serving as Factory Director of Prysmian Group Turkey has been assigned as Chairman of Board of Directors and ErkanAydoğdu serving as Research- Development and Logistics Director of Prysmian Group Turkey has been assigned as CEO of Prysmian Group Turkey. Assignment will become valid as of January 1, 2015.
Halil İbrahim Kongur participating in Prysmian Group Turkey family in year 1986 and serving as director of the factory domiciled in Mudanya as of year 2003 will continue his duty as Chairman of Board of Directors in addition to his duty as Factory Director within the company he supports by his works for many years. Assignment of Kongur who served previously as Planning Engineer, Logistics Director, Production Director and Purchase Director under the roof of Prysmian Group Turkey and generally called as father of Prysman Group Turkey has the quality as indication of the importance attached by Prysmian Group to devoted works and loyalty shown for many years. Kongur was graduated from Karadeniz Technical University, Mechanical Engineering Department as well as obtained master’s degree in Production Technologies field from Berlin Technical University.
ErkanAydoğdu assigned as the new CEO of Prysmian Group Turkey participated in Prysmian family by taking his part in Production Planning department in year 1997. He continued to serve between years 2001- 2002 as Process Kaizen Engineer in central logistics department domiciled in Italy. Aydoğdu who returned to Turkey in year 2003 served respectively as Logistics Chief and Logistics Director. In year 2010, he was assigned as director of Research and Development and Logistics departments. Always as a foreseeing, loyal employee adopting team work and human oriented approach, Aydoğdu made significant contributions for many years in order to turn Turkey today into the most important Research and Development facilities of the Group and to develop Prysmian Group Turkey through various projects such as developing the initiative “Attention! Not all Cables are the Same…”.Aydoğdu was graduated from Middle East Technical University, Mechanical Engineering department.
Hans Hoegstedt, the CEO of Prysmian Group Turkey promoted as CEO of the factory in Italy where Prysmian Group’s headquarters is domiciled, served during his career started in London in year 1994 in senior Sales and Marketing duties and as General Manager/ CEO within many leading international B2C and B2B companies among which we can count The Coca-Cola Company, Fiat Auto/ Alfa Romeo. Hoegstedt who obtained Business Administration and MBA diplomas from Pepperdine University and Harvard’s Faculty of Business Administration served as Energy Distribution and Dealers& Contractors Channel World Director until year 2011 at the headquartersof Prysmian Group he participated in year 2006. Hoegstedt put his signature to many projects which will carry both Turkish cable sector and Prysmian Group Turkey much further during three years he served as CEO of Prysmian Group Turkey. many projects come to realize with reference to the mission “We connect Turkey to the Future” which was added among company’s missions in year 2011. Prysmian Group Turkey became supplier of the project which consists of design, provision, assembly and implementation of underwater cable project which will connect Asia to Europe at the Dardanelles under water which is among world’s important projects and a first in Turkey tendered by TEIAŞ. Furthermore, Hoegstedt was the person who carried into effect the initiative “Attention! Not all Cables are the Same…” in December 2012 which is Turkish Cable Sector’s biggest educational project until today with the belief of livingin a safer and more effective world. Hoegstedt pioneering the biggest investment ever implemented since 1964 having a value of TRY 27 million together with HalilKongur in Mudanya factory in year 2013 will take his part in Prysmian Group Turkey’s Board of Directors as Vice-chairman during the next period.
