PRYSMIAN GROUP TURKEY EXPOSED NEW TECHNOLOGIES IN EURASIA RAIL FAIR
As the leading company in power and telecommunication cables industry, Prysmian Group’s Turkish branch introduced its product range and technology during Eurasia Rail International Rolling Stock, Infrastructure and Logistics Exhibition organized in Istanbul between 2-4 March 2017.
Brought its success further through pioneer studies and investments in the industry, Prysmian Group Turkey has introduced new products and technologies in Eurasia Rail, as the single railway fair in Eurasia and the 3rd biggest rolling stock fair throughout the world. Standing as the ultimate supplier particularly for Turkish State Railways (TCDD) projects by means of its signal, communication, balise, power and fiber optic cables, Prysmian Group Turkey had the opportunity during fair to introduce rolling stock cables dedicated to underground and rail system vehicles together with the turnkey solution named Connecta System. The attention towards Connecta was a clear sign on the industry’s tendency to innovation. Connecta System, manufactured in England, steps forward by developing an innovative solution for cable systems for tunnel lighting as well as its features of production in intended length or range, facilitated installation, uninterrupted operation during the breakdown of any lamp and facilitated repair requirements.
Hosted by Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communication with the considerable support of TÜVASAŞ, TÜDEMSAŞ, TÜLOMSAŞ, KOSGEB and UIC institutions, Eurasia Rail gathered professionals and opinion leaders within the industry by simultaneous conferences and seminars. The fair received 10 thousand guests from 70 countries including the professionals in rolling stock and light rail systems market.

Prysmian Group Mudanya plant is included in 82 facilities with widest product range. Upon the recent developments within the industry, we have increased production capacity and product range in our Mudanya plant in accordance with new investments on rolling stock whereas we made all cable components of a railway system available for production in Turkey.”
In addition to Connecta System, Prysmian Group Turkey also shared signal, communication, power and railway cables with the visitors to its stand in Eurasia Rail. The company maintains its leading role in Turkish cable industry by participating and organizing fairs or seminars together with innovations in the scope of “We connect Turkey to the future” mission.
