Prysmian Group Turkey became the first company which received CPR certificate in Turkish cable sector.

Prysmian Group Turkey, which is the Turkey’s operation of Prysmian Group the worldwide leader of energy and telecommunication cables, received CPR certificate that certifies the conformity of cables used in buildings with the Construction Products Regulation. With this certificate, Prysmian Group Turkey has certified the conformity of its cables with “EN 50575” standard regulating the practices for power, control and communication cables and “Construction Products Regulation” (CPR – Construction Products Regulation (EU) No: 305/2011) published by the Ministry of Environment and Urban Planning in 2011 after many years of studies in our country. The CPR certificate, which specifies the rules of attachment of CE sign to the materials and performance declarations related to basic characteristics of the materials used in the buildings and registers the fire response performances of cables, certifies its conformity with the Construction Products Regulation. Meanwhile, the EN 50575 standard, which regulates the practices of CPR in cable sector, specifies the requirements of fire response performance of power, control and communication cables used in any building, including buildings and infrastructures, the tests related to these requirements, and the criteria related to conformity assessments.
