Mr. Halit Ok, Chairman of Board of “Ok Kablo Elektronik Elektrik San İç ve Dış Tic. AŞ” company: Currently our capacity is 90% full and we have achieved to reach goals we have set for the first half of 2015.

How is year 2015 for your company and what is the capacity utilization rate following the first six months?
Year 2015 started calm in the first months and then, customer orders increased and after the third month we started a quite busy work. We still continue the same intensive business schedule. Now our capacity is full at the rate 90% and we have already reac-hed our targets determined for the first half of 2015. We have also new works, new manufactures and targets and we will implement all of our plans until the end of year.
We work intensively in the automotive sector and our white appliances manufacture con-tinues as a smooth manufacture. Our cable manufacture continues very intensively and we will start to export our cables in year 2016 following our export negotiati-ons.
Manufacture continues ceaselessly at our PVC tube production line.
How are you affected by the EUR/ USD exc-hange rate increase occurred in this year? Are you able to reach your targets?
EUR/ USD fluctuations in the economy in year 2015 didn’t affect very much our company negatively; our planned and determined works enabled us to overcome it easily without any trouble. For now we carry out positive works with our customers. We haven’t encountered negativities in material and raw material supply at home and abro-ad; our supplier haven’t caused trouble for
us. We use our sources in a regular and planned way, we buy all raw materials and materials we use in cash and we still continue our relations with our customers we work with for a long time and they recom-mend us to other companies they work with and thus, we gain new customers. Our customer portfolio extended very much thanks to the Internet.
Our customers also encounter fluctuations within the company and therefore, they ans-wer our cost increase demands in the affir-mative.
How cable sector can overcome this process which continues profitless or with minimum profit? May you share your opinions with us?
We receive the information that many company have hard periods and we don’t want to face such negativities; therefore, we planned our economic strategies very carefully and now, our company continues to work without being affected by these negative developments.
We follow developments and economic information closely.
What are your expectations for second half of the year?
Cable sector is a vital point for our country in economic terms. We wish negativities get better and especially, export increases; we don’t want exchange rate increases fluctua-te in economic terms.
We hope that elections will result in a way carrying our country to better days.
