Great investment from Borsan

Mr. Adnan Ölmez, the Chairman of Borsan Group, said, “2017 will be our investment year in LED lighting products. We determined 35 models and we will introduce these products to the Turkish and world markets as from the second half of 2017”
INCREASING EFFICIENCY REDUCING EXPENSES
Mr. Adnan Ölmez, who has been explaining about the new investments to be made next year, stated that they prepared for 2017 with the slogan of ‘increasing productivity and reducing expenses’. Mr. Adnan Ölmez, noting that 2017 will be their year of investment in LED lighting, announced that they will introduce 35 models designed thereby to the Turkish and world markets.
THE FACTORY IN ITALY HAS STRATEGIC IMPORTANCE Mr. Adnan Ölmez, stating that 2017 will not be easier 2016, said, “We are preparing for 2017 with this awareness and consciousness with our group of companies. The events we experience in our country make us very unhappy however there is no other Turkey. There is no other place we can live.
Therefore we are preparing a new year without losing our motivation. Our slogan for 2017 is ‘to increase productivity and reduce expenses’. Our investments will continue also in 2017. We have made significant investments in the field of cable as Borsan in recent years. 2017 will be our year of investment in LED lighting. Our R & D department is working very hard with our partners in China. We are passing to LED lighting products fully in inner lighting. It is a known fact that usage of the standard bulbs is almost finished all over the world. There is a transition to LED lighting in every area. We are starting to produce LED products in the right time. In this context, we identified 35 models. The designs of the cited models are completed. We proceeded to the mold-making phase. We will introduce these products to the Turkish and world markets as from the second half of 2017. We have big expectations from our LED lighting. As Borsan, LED lighting constitutes our most important work in terms of investment. We also officially purchased a cable plant in Italy which we were operating by paying rent. We are also making new investments there. We are producing additional products. Our factory there has become one of the most significant investments made abroad recently.
This factory is a factory that makes special designs for important industry branches such as aircraft, robot and defense industry. Our production increase works are continuing there. Furthermore, our factory in Italy has rendered us a global manufacturer identity. This factory has a strategic priority for us”.
