General Manager of “Osgün Metal” is Mr.Hakan GÜNİSTER We are trying to promote our company in the world through making exports to 27 countries.
He completed his words by saying “… Not being recognized sufficiently in the international market is one of the most significant shortcomings of our industry according to us. As such, companies should emphasize foreign trade marketing with an eye to achieve exports. Furthermore, international promotional activities can be improved thanks to the support of the state. Working with international consulting firms can be an option. We need to do everything with a view to promote our country and our industry” and answered our questions.
Which countries are OSGÜN METAL LTD. export?
OSGÜN LTD. is the biggest Turkish company which produce onyl steel reels. Our company are founded in 1988 which is the date until today ; sales are made to various company in Asia , Europe , Africa and Amerika continents. We are proud of being exported 27 countries. Besides , during this interview , that we have received orders from Russia , Kazakhistan and Algeria are keeping on the production. Our marketing efforts to increase exports to proceed at full speed.
Competing is more important in the developmant of foreign trade and export. To increase the competitiveness of the sector and forward to raise service standarts so ,which policies do you think are needed?
One of the major shortcomings of the sector by us in foreign markets is not enough to be known. Therefore, the companies should give importance for export to foreign trade marketing. Also, with the support of the state in overseas promotional activities can be improved more. Companies should think to collaborate with the international consulting firms. We must do everything to promote our country and our industry. I would like to add, training is the most important policy for to increase the competitiveness of the sector and to elevate the standard of service . With conscious managers and trained workers makes our societies will always move us up.
What are the cable industry products of your company?
Our company has been manufacturing steel reels and wire baskets in need of cable and wire industry. If I get some more details ; we are producing the reels of cooper , steel , aluminium , lead and alloyed wires. We are also producing cable manufacturing reels and cable shipping reels. Reels can be produced according to DIN46391 , DIN46395 , DIN46397 or in the required size and design.
