Everything gets very hot in power plants, melting furnace, and engines. The cables used in these fields should have thermal resistance meeting the requirements of the said heat. Lapp shall exhibit a number of products having resistance against higher heats and mechanic stress: single-core ÖLFLEX ® HEAT 650 SC has a continuous resistance to 650 degree (Celsius). ÖLFLEX® HEAT 125 MC/C MC has been designed for use in loaded buildings but it can still resist 125 degree (celcius). Single silicone-core ÖLFLEX® HEAT 180 SiF A have a continuous resistance of 150 degree (Celcius) (according to UL) and it is approved for the North American market. With SKINDICHT® MINI FKM, Lapp shows that even small cable grommet may resist higher heats. The new SKINTOP® MULTI is very practical – it is definitely impermeable, jelly-filled rommet and convenient for cables having different thickness.
New products and details: ÖLFLEX® HEAT 650 SC: Fiberglass insulated single core The nickel wire and fiberglass insulation introduce incredible features to this cable: the single core may resist up to 650°C in the continuous operation conditions. That’s why; it has been designed to use in the areas such as power plants, melting furnaces, engines, heating modules and cooking systems. ÖLFLEX® HEAT 650 SC has expanded its single-core product range to cover large environment heat ranges and now presents its customers a solution of 650°C instead of the previous solution of 400°C. ÖLFLEX® HEAT 180 SiF A: silicone cable for North America Lapp support its single-core products, which have already had an extensive content, with ÖLFLEX® HEAT 180 SiF A. The cable introduces silicone insulation and it meets the UL heat (maximum 150 degree (celcius) and tension (maximum 1000 V) requirements and contains halogen. The single-core cables may be used more flexible than the multicore cables and they are introduced in various colors in order to ease cabling.
ÖLFLEX® HEAT 125 MC/C MC: perfect in every way up to +125°C This cable has a cover that improves burning behavior, has heat resistance up to 125°C, electron beam, cross-linked plastic cover, and it has approval of Germanischer Lloyd. This plastic does not contain halogen. It is especially convenient for frequented places such as industrial and public buildings.

SKINDICHT® MINI FKM: small cable grommet, great performance A cable, which is resistant to heat but of which connection parts and cable grommets are not designed for higher heats, is good for nothing. SKINDICHT® MINI FKM cable grommet introduces superior heat resistance. This is possible through brass holes and the gaskets made up of FKM, a plastic resistant to heat. SKINDICHT® MINI FKM, for example, is convenient for thin cables with diameters from 2,0 to 5,5 mm used in measurement technology for the purposes of cable sensor.
Extremely durable and practicle innovations from Lapp at the Hannover Messe Trade Fair: SKINTOP® MULTI is a new member of practical multi-cable grommets for control cabinets and automation technology purposes. As SKINTOP® CUBE and SKINTOP® CUBE MULTI, it feeds many cables. When SKINTOP® CUBE introduces interchangeable single-gasket frame, it provides maximum flexibility for preplaced cables. The new SKINTOP® MULTI introduces a powerful view thanks to its compact design and spacesaving concept in the control cabinet. The multi-cable grommet may be used to supply power up to the cables in various diameters or AS-I type 22 cables by making a rapid and flexible connection through drilling the flexible jelly membrane by a plumber. This significantly decreases the type diversity and therefore provides time and money saving. Thanks to the jelly technology, the entire system shall have large compression spaces, high protection rate and ideal tensionlowering features on the entire cable batch in order to obtain a long-term safe cable entry.
SKINTOP® GRIP is now available in designs M16x1.5 and M32x1.5. this brass cable gland has a double cable strap that introduces ten times tension-lowering feature according to the standard. This cable grommet is designed to use primarily in machines and system parts such as foot switches and buttoned- control units.
EPIC® ULTRA H-A 3 shows that even the small rectangular connection parts may be extremely durable. The hole of this new serial is covered with nickel to introduce protection from stain and provide ideal electromagnetic adaptation through its all-around 360 degree shield. It is convenient for congested conditions in control cabinets. This and many other innovations of the Lapp shall be exhibited at the stand of Lapp at Hannover Messe Trade Fair. (Hall 11, stand C03).
