First of all, Tıskaoğlu stating that our company provides products mainly for white goods and lighting sectors and that our products are needed in manufacture of each product available in the said sectors, therefore, number of targeted sectors to which we may offer our products are not limited only with two and that our products are also demanded by sub sectors of the said sectors answered our questions on the sector. As Elcab Kablo, you left many years behind. How did your company come to these days and how did you reach that level by passing through which stages? As ELCAB KABLO, I would like to mention that we have attained our current level by working hard and making our best to reach all targets we set without compromising integrity and business ethics and that the basic factor behind this success is the love towards our job.
During the process till today, we worked hard by setting our targets; we were honest to everybody and continued our operations with advantages of quality products complying with the standards, reasonable prices and delivery on time we offered in relation with our customers wishes and demands. As the sector’s fastest growing company, our biggest target has been to meet our customers demands and needs at the highest extent for all products manufactured as of the date we started our manufacture to today. Therefore, we continue to proceed with quality manufacturing and innovation works carried out in order to meet needs of our customers at the best level to which we export and we serve in the domestic market with our customer oriented manufacturing understanding from our incorporation day to today and we also aim to walk on that path in future.
May you mention about activities and product range of Elcab Kablo today?
⇒As ELCAB KABLO, we have had our operations since year 1998 in manufacturing various products used in manufacture of white goods such as silicone cable, fiber glass cable, silicone seal, silicone tube, plug-in cable and PVC cable. Our company which carries out manufacturing at an indoor area of 7000 sqm always aims further with its young and dynamic staff. Within this framework, the quality management system was certified in year 2005 by ISOQUAR with ISO 9001: 2008, ISO 14001: 2005 quality and with VDE certificate upon periodic audits implemented as per CE, TÜV, EAC, ROSH, REACH. Our products have been manufactured under responsibility of the aforementioned quality certificates by using methods suitable for technological requirements of our age in our large machinery parks. Modern testing devices have been used in our manufacturing processes and our products are tested at each stages of manufacturing process and at the last control stage as well as documentation and reporting have been made as per required standards. Therefore, our company being aware that investments in research and development will increase the product quality and will add added value to the product for improvement of product structure have always operations in that field and as result of effective success and performance shown, becomes a supplier preferred by main industrialists with its customer satisfaction oriented quality understanding generating economic solutions for industrial needs.
Mostly to which sectors do you provide products? May you inform us about your domestic market sales and export activities?
⇒First of all, I would like to mention that our company provides products mainly for white goods and lighting sectors and that our products are needed in manufacture of each product available in the said sectors, therefore, number of targeted sectors to which we may offer our products are not limited only with two and that our products are also demanded by sub sectors of the said sectors answered our questions on the sector.
As ELCAB KABLO, we continue our activities both in domestic and foreign markets with 2 different professional team by which we have established our sales activities. We meet needs and demands of our basic export markets as per a policy basing on customer satisfaction such as reasonable price, quality and delivery on time as well as we attend fairs and carry out continuous customer visits and research and development activities. In this direction, we attend the Middle East Electricity Fair to be organized in Dubai between 1-3 March and WIN to be organized in Istanbul between 17-20 March as well as SODEX Fair to be also organized in Istanbul between 4-7 May.
May you evaluate general condition of the cable sector, future of the sector and issues of the sector in our country?
⇒ Considering Turkish cable sector in terms of manufacturing capacity and quality as well as sales marketing effectiveness, we unfortunately see that many companies, not in sectoral terms but also in general terms, make concessions of product quality in order to increase their manufacturing capacity, to minimize costs and to comply with deadlines or increase prices unfairly since they work at idle capacity although they increase their capacity and that condition reflect on the costs. What really matters is to carry out quality manufacturing at high capacity and to offer services to customers on time with suitable, effective and efficient marketing strategies. As ELCAB KABLO, we implement our manufacturing activities in direction with these strategies. Nevertheless, I would like to note as a criticism that, considering future and problems of the sector, the fundamental issue of our country’s cable sector is that no brand value known worldwide has been created yet although it was established on a firm base. Because of the perception created by lack of inspection in our country and price oriented approach in the market, manufacturers don’t attach importance to research and development and innovation activities and unfortunately that condition causes appearance of such a result.
Turkish cable sector started to make its mark in many fields at abroad. What do you think about that matter?
⇒ Unfortunately we cannot say entirely and adequately that our cable sector made its mark in many fields at abroad. The basic reason of that condition is, as I answered to the question above, that no brand value known worldwide has been created yet although we have a sectoral structure established on a firm base and whose infrastructure is very strong.
As a company, what is your middle and long term growth target for year 2016? ⇒As of its incorporation day, our company making no concessions of quality and having its customer satisfaction oriented operations until today, will ensure constant improvement and development in the manufacturing process by proceeding on its path in year 2016, by supplying quality products and services to its customers at lower costs without any defect and on time with optimum resources and advantages as well as by increasing training level of its employees. Applying research and development activities carried out, quality policies and technological developments of our age to the manufacturing process, as a leading quality, innovation and competitive company being able to compete globally, generating economic solutions for sectoral needs, manufacturing at international and national standards, caring about customer demands and wishes and being in constant innovation and development, we aim to increase the growth and development momentum in year 2016 that we have always increased each passing year as of our incorporation day.
