Borsan Kablo Celebrated the success Magnificently
Employees of Borsan Kablo ranked among Turkey’s biggest first 500 industrial enterprises and top exporting companies celebrated the success on that gorgeous night they feel proud of attaining export and sales targets of year 2015 as well as putting Turkey’s second biggest aluminum cable factory into service in Samsun within a short period of 6 months with an investment of 105 million liras.
In Borsan Kablo fully attaining its targets concerning export and domestic market share set in year 2015, employees celebrated that success on a magnificent night and Borsan Group Chairman of Board of Directors Adnan Ölmez said “With the sacrifice and determination to work shown by all employees, from workers to general managers in year 2015 which was a difficult year for everyone, Borsan Kablo didn’t affected by these negativities and besides, put a big factory which will manufacture aluminum cables into service in Samsun within 6 months with an investment of 105 million lira.” “Night of Pride” of Borsan Kablo being among Turkey’s biggest first 500 industrial enterprises and exporting companies was held at Samsun Fair Neco Sultan Hall. Borsan Chairman of Board of Directors Adnan Ölmez, Vice Chairmen Hacı Ahmet Ölmez, Ahmet Şenocak, Group Vice Chairman Responsible of Corporate Communication and Bor panel General Manager Serdar Ölmez, Haber Medya Vice Chairman of Board of Directors and Haber Newspaper Chief Editor Necdet Uzun, Smasun Medicana Hospital Genel Manager Vahap Doğan, Samsun Medicana Hospital Chief Doctor Surgeon Murat Küsdül, Borsan Kablo General Manager İsmail Öz, Haber Medya Group Sales and Marketing Director Hülya Hacıoğlu, Borsan Group Legal Advisor Barış Ulaş Tığlı as well as senior executives and employees attended the night.
WE HAVE BEATEN A RECORD ALL TOGETHER
Borsan Group Chairman of Board of Directors Adnan Ölmez mentioning that targets set at the beginning of year 2015 were not easy to attain at the end of year during his speech to employe-es, said “The difference in each job done by setting its heart and believing in what you are doing appeared also in preparation of this night. We analyze and evaluate the year 2015 and 2016 in depth. We left behind the year 2015 which was very difficult with Borsan Kablo Factories and executives and employees of our group. It was a tough year for industrial enterprises. In a year that industrialists throughout Turkey affected extremely due to unexpected decrease in raw material prices, increase of foreign exchanges, political uncertainties and disturbance in the region; we didn’t affect by the foregoing and besides, we put Turkey’s second biggest aluminum cable factory into service in Samsun within period of 6 months which may be considered as a record on 40 thousand 500 square meters with an investment of 105 million liras. One thousand tons of copper and two thousand tons of aluminum will be processed and become final products at two factories situated on an indoor area of 70 thousand square meters in total. I congratulate everybody from general manager to workers making sacrifice and showing determination to work for this success.”
THEY DESERVED TO BE AWARDED
Meanwhile, Borsan Group Chairman of Board of Directors Adnan Ölmez granted “Outstanding Performance Plaque” and awards to Borsan Group Vice Chairman Responsible of Corporate Communication Serdar Ölmez, Borsan General Manager İsmail Öz, Kahraman Çağlayan, Uğur Maden, Hande Yirmibeşoğlu, Osman Polat, Selim Köse, Onur Keleş, Onur Berberoğlu, Gülseren Meral, İbrahim Hakkı Kılıç, Yusuf Ocak and Ahmet Vedat Işıkhan who almost have beaten a record with their outstanding efforts to transform a flat land within a short period of 6 months through infrastructure, construction, erection of machinery and finally bringing the factory to the production phase.
Borsan Kablo that celebrated its 30th anniversary in the last year initiated a practice in this year for the first time on the Night of Pride and granted “Loyalty Plaque” and awards to İsmail Öz, Esra Gün, Kahraman Çağlayan, Basri Bayrak, Adil Güngör, Hande Yirmibeşoğlu, Erkan Sarı, Uğur Maden, Hatice Bıçakçı, Dilber Yiğit, Hamide Özdemir, Hayati Küdük, Fatih Çulha, İbrahim Hakkı Kılıç, Çetin Çırak, İsmail Yılmaz, Fikret Fidan, Recep Şirin, Gülcan Gençoğlu, Bünyamin Gül, Yüksel Aker, Yeşim Bektaş, Erhan Kaya, Kamil Kurgın, Mehmet Özdemir, Nuri Geyik, Zekiye Kumaş, Meryem Bitim, Bilal Çağlayan, Rüstem Bayram, Süriye Çorbacı, Ebru Erdem Kazancı, Mümin Şahin, Yunus Genç and Turan Ölmez who worked at the factory more than 10 years.
During the night that all employees had fun, there were also gift draws. On the night that a celebration cake was cut, artists Aslı and Ümit Kurşun gave Borsan employees unforgettable times.
