2M Kablo has a wide product portfolio in terms of products and services. It should have difficulties as much as it has advantages. How do you ensure proper operation of the organization?
2M Kablo has its operations in manufacture and sales fields of Lookab Sound- video cables, energy cables, instrumentation cables, Information- Communication, Coaxial, CCTV, Diaphone, Telephone, Marine, Air, Railway and remote control- control cables.
We possess a facility and organizational structure having the capacity to manufacture actively 10.000 sorts of product. To be able to manufacture and put on the market that much sorts of product at superior quality requires a quite detailed team work even at the offering stage. We have a strong and dynamic Research and Development organization and we are able to carry out tests required by Turkey and export countries in our well-equipped electric, mechanical, polymer and fire laboratories as well as we implement many tests on our products within our organization in order to be sure on quality of 2M Kablo and send them to customers. 2M KABLO manufactures products in conformity with national and international standards as well as makes design and production according to special customer specifications and demands. Thus, our product portfolio expands each year.
Production, sales and marketing organization of 2M Kablo grows each passing day in parallel with our trade. What kind of negative effects have disturbances in neighboring countries on cable manufacturers like you?
The Syria crisis which continues for a few years, disturbances in Ukraine, embargos applied in the region and economic crisis in some markets pushed cable manufacturers to work flexible, to foresee the risks and if required to change our course to other geographies like other sectors in our country. There is a classical saying in the business world “don’t put all eggs in the same basket” and I believe disturbances in neighboring countries and economic shrinkages thought that principle adequately to the sector.
2M Kablopasses through a period it constantly improves itself in the World and Turkey. Have you attained sales and turnover targets you wish for year 2014?
We had a quite successful 3 quarters with power of our sales and marketing department restructured at the beginning of year 2014. We broke our own records in terms of orders and sales this year thanks to our quality and above standards production approach and dynamic teams. Especially, by foreseeing risks at the last quarter in the sector to which we provide our service, we are taking firm steps forward. Our ability to revise our business model according to our target sectors and our corporate structure has been an important factor for year 2014 to have a successful year.
Do you have new products and projects you are planning to realize for year 2015? May you share them with our readers?
Our machinery and equipment investments will continue for many product groups in year 2015. Especially, we will develop ourselves in supplementary product groups. Besides, our developments for existing products still continue and we will share further details in future period.
Finally, do you wish anything to add?
Year 2014 keeps going at a constant tempo in terms of many sectors. Companies which are not able to adapt their trade and production to that atmosphere are quite influenced by these ups and downs. These ups and downs will continue especially in the next year. Companies whose risk perception is low and which are not able to assess their current portfolio and team will be affected negatively from that atmosphere.
Trading companies have more issues to take into consideration in this period as it was in all periods. Sale is important, meaningful, profitability is much more important but cash means everything. Thank you.
