PAN CHEMICALS BOSPHORUS is Adding Lifeline to the Turkish Economy by It’s Exports

On this issue of KABLO TEL DÜNYASI (CABLE WIRE WORLD), we made an e-interview with Turkey Country Manager of PAN CHEMICALS S.p.A. ITALY and PAN CHEMICALS BOSPHORUS; Mr. Hakan Tanış about actual subjects and near future plans of their firm.

Hello Mr. Hakan, first of all we’d like thank you for your kindness for accepting our interview request. Would you please share us about your firm, products, the organisational structure and your duty in your company.

•Hello Mr. Altan, I also would like to thank you on behalf of my company and myself for your magazine CABLE WIRE WORLD for giving us this interview opportunity.

PAN CHEMICALS S.p.A. is a producing company that was established in 1987 at North Italy by specialists and competent people in their era for the service of World Wire Industry, needed Chemicals for wire, pipe, bar drawing; industrial drawing lubricants, wire galvanizing cold fluxes (that can function in environment heat), waxes that give the wire protection ability from red and white rust, wire coating and wire protection chemicals, but also supply various machinery and their equipments, wiping pads and spiral brushes along with various consultancy and engineery services. One of the important constituent of our firm is PAN CHEMICALS BOSPHORUS/TURKEY which is depot/office of PAN CHEMICALS S.p.A. ITALY. Our firm targeted to reach it’s products and services to Turkish wire producers with ‘just in time’ principle and ‘being one and only supplier’ vision by it’s own constitution PAN CHEMICALS BOSPHORUS.

Another important constituent of our firm is our second producing facility that was established in 2017 after a long feasibility and project designing, PAN CHEMICALS S.A. De C.V/MEXICO with PAN CHEMICALS AMERICAS factory we established in Mexico, we aimed to give fast and limitless service to the current and potential firms in South and North America Region. We’d also like to state that we’re continuing to our production activities and services on the Pasific wing of our Global World. Along with our own constituents; we’re reaching our products to a total of 100 countries in 6 continents, with our 10 distributors and 20 represantative firms in different countries.

In all of these constituents, I’m the Country Manager – Turkey of PAN CHEMICALS S.p.A. ITALY and PAN CHEMICALS BOSPHORUS; As a matter of course; by the firms I’m affiliated with I’m running Turkish Industry based before and aftersale support; production improving consultancy and engineery services, import/export operations and approvals of contracts with our collaborators.

Mr. Hakan, thank you for your detailed explanations. We think all our readers know you and your firm better by your answers. Within our second question , we’d like to hear about the reflections Covid-19 period on your firm, that took hold of Turkey and whole World. What do you think should be expected for World and Turkey wire drawing industry from 2021 and how this situation would affect next couple of years?

We’d gladly like to state that we’ll show all effort and delicacy to our new collaborators which we already show to the current ones. As you know Covid-19 period is a global pandemy situation that began on December 2019 took hold of the whole World and with an optimistic approach expected to end on spring 2021 best. From the very beginning

months as the wavy production periods directly affected wire producers, but also the raw material producers sometimes direct, sometimes indirectly. As a result of our planning studies on our own producing lines as PAN CHEMICALS S.p.A., PAN CHEMICALS AMERICAS and PAN CHEMICALS BOSPHORUS we strived to pass this process with minimum effect, supplying our goods to all our collaborators over the globe, not allowing any delays on wire production of our collaborators. Along with all these We’d of course state that we have digressed a bit from our actual targets and plans and took our b and c plans into, strategically.

As we’re aware that our global experiences have added positive value to us, as a result of this situation beginnig from 2021 to 2025 we’ll be following a more positive approach I’d like to declare.

As you know technology as a trend is day by day more into our lives, so as a result of this global cable and wire industry; especially with the cables and wires within new charging units of smart mobile phones; fiber optic cables, construction building, automotive, ship building, new type of unbreakable and nonconducting cables used in airplanes, coaxial cables, with an expected total contribution of 190 billion to global industry for 2020. This number is expected to reach to a level of 205 billion for 2022 therefore, with reference to short term plannings; the increase in cable and wire industry is expected to be about 5% annually. This percentage is expected to increase parabolically until 2030.

We expect that global production slowdowns and stoppages in 2020 to fade out beginning from 2021 and completely over in the second quarter of 2023. We also expect outburst for World wire industry starting from 3rd quarter of 2023 until the beginning of 2025. And after 2030 we expect a more stabilized production amount and volume for the industry.

Mr. Hakan, we’d especially like to thank for the statistical information you gave us. We’re sure the business people and our loyal readers will benefit. We’d like to talk about PAN CHEMICALS BOSPHORUS’s export activities. We all know you in the market; PAN CHEMICALS BOSPHORUS more of an importer, but beginning from 2019 you took steps to becoming an exporter either, would you please elaborate, thanks.

• Yes Mr. Altan, from 2019 as PAN CHEMICALS BOSPHORUS, we are into the category of firms which missioned to add lifelines to Turkish Economy, exporting, adding values in different directions. Last year we were awarded as a new special member plaque from IKMIB – ISTANBUL CHEMICAL MATERIALS EXPORTERS CHAMBER which is bound to TIM – TURKEY EXPORTERS PARLIAMENT. Even the global pandemic has reduced the speed we still took our steps to take us stronger to 2021. Our targets, making research for domestic market, supporting export more, adding lifeline to Turkish Economy, therefore crowning our sales with export strategies. In accordance to our targets not compromising from our corporate identity and route we’d like to declare to World Wire Industry by your magazine.
