Mr. İrfan PIRMIT, General Manager of Brm Polimer A.Ş: “Brm Polimer” started to take its place in the sector slowly but emphatically.

Mr. Irfan, General Manager of Brm Polimer saying that, “Our products require technical knowledge, skills and experience. Technical Masterbatch production was not supported sufficiently in our country. We have gained a significant place in this field. Our young and dynamic staff and our long years of knowledge and experience enabled us to achieve this”, answered our questions for our readers.

When and how did Brm Polimer start the commercial activities thereof? What would you like to say about your field of activity?

I worked as a professional in this sector for many years. We strengthened our dreams of starting our own business during this working period.

We established our own company in 2014 by realizing our dream which we matured with our experiences in the sector.

Plastic raw material is almost used in every field in our day. Plastics are very diverse. In this context, our activity is as follows: To produce dyestuff and process additives for plastics in the form of masterbatches. “MASTERBATCH” is the term commonly used in the world for the products we produce.

What would you like to say about your production facilities and employees?

Our production facility is located in Sultanbeyli district of Istanbul. We continued our investments in Turkey with the purchase of three new machines in economic conditions of 2019 and increased our capacity.

Our employees are people who have worked in this sector for long years. Our experienced employees add great strength to our company in every step of order taking, production of desired product in production process and finally delivery of products without problems to the valued customesr.

Can you give information about your products and usage areas?

In our day, the use of plastic raw materials is quite common. Plastics are quite varied according to their usage area.

There are many types of plastics such as hard or soft plastic as well as plastic with low or high working temperature. In our day, plastic products can even replace metals.

Plastic products are used in many sectors such as packaging, electrical appliances, cable, automotive, white goods, garden and kitchen utensils, building-construction and agriculture. Almost all of the products used in the sectors mentioned are colored for their appearance. Our company has the knowledge and skills to produce Masterbatches by using the same raw materials by making standard or special works for all kinds of plastics used in these sectors.

Does your company allocate a budget for R & D and P & D works? At which stage are your R & D works?

R & D and P & D are very important for companies which are open to growth. The new ideas and products in these works determine the future of the company. We show the required attention to these sections.

What strategy will you follow as Brm Polimer this year? Have you created your roadmap as regards your goals?

Our company is very young yet. Our company has been growing continuously since its establishment. In 2019, we made serious investments in the field of production. In 2020, these investments will continue in our R & D and laboratory departments.

Can you inform us about the position of Brm polimer in the sector as well as its strength in the market?

Do you have any exports? If so, to which countries do you mainly make export?

We export 40% of our production. We export generally to Eastern Europe, Russia, Caucasus Region, Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and Cyprus.

Our mission is to contribute to the national economy with the sense of social responsibility, create new employment fields, make quality a lifestyle and to provide the best quality product at the most reasonable price by keeping customer satisfaction in the forefront.
