The Greenmer R&D team has taken an active role in the preparations of regulations since 2010. The company has presented to the sector HFFR compound solutions in accordance with the Construction Products Regulation (CPR) that has become mandatory according to the EN 50575 standard in July of 2017, and achieved certificates in the highest nonflammability classes of our day with customers in Turkey and Europe.
Greenmer Plastik develops products with many different qualities for customers to use in their CPR certifications
These are products in which B2ca, d0, s1a, a1 certification is done in FR 4340Cb sheath material with JE-H(St)H, LIHH, LIHCH, N2XH, NHMH cables from the non halogen containing fire resistant compounds and in FR 4540Cb coaxial, CAT6, CAT7, LIHH, JE-H(St)H, N2XH, NHXMH type cables. In addition to the standard products, special products are developed through cooperation with the customer as a result of actions taken towards achieving a solution.
The company conducts joint projects with customers in Turkey and Europe in certification processes using its experience in CPR Products in the targeted class are achieved through making small changes in the raw material and cable designs in line with customer needs. Cca and B2ca certifications have been done in coaxial cables, CAT6 and CAT7 data cables and single thin core cables. On the most recently developed products through work done with a European strategic partner self produced physically foaming polyethylene PE-Cell-8 for insulation and FR 4540 Cb the most recently developed product for the outer sheath were used to achieve a B2ca certificate in the standard design of coaxial cables with small design changes. In another project with a different European company FR 4050 and FR 4340 Cb were used in coaxial cables to achieve Cca class product certification as a result of tests conducted in Germany. The efforts started with domestic producers have achieved B2ca certification in FR 4540 and FR 4340 Cb LHCH, LIHH, JEH(St)H cables.
Another newly developed product achieves higher burn and drip classes with Fire Resistant Polyethylene FR PE305 in PE insulated cables that require higher nonflammability classes.
