Our project having the features of impermeability and inflammability, the studies and serial production of which were realized within the body of our company, as being approved by KOSGEB, has received demand exceeding the expectations, and the relevant production activities are carried out without interruptions.” Ozan Ozdemir who stated that they are targeting to achieve positive results in the near future from their project named ‘Flexible Plywood’ which is planned to eliminate the situations causing dashes and breakups, as being commenced in the middle of 2017 , the research and development phase of which is still continuing, also shared information about their company.
By telling us about your activities relating with cable sector and your brand and product varieties, could you give us information about your production capacity, annual production, and sales quantities ?
Among our most important activities relating with the cable sector, the main one is Plywood Conveyor Rollers. Carrying capacities of our Plywood Conveyor Rollers, the monthly consumption quantity in various dimensions and diameters of which is 450 m3, is between 150 kg and 1.250 kg.
As a result of our project which we realized at the beginning of year 2016, by enabling to have no deformations even if they are left within water for 12-24 months, by obtaining tare weight that is %300 lower when compared with wooden bobbins, and enabling for %200 less usage of trees, we provided important gains to our country as regards to the protection of green areas.
Monthly consumption quantity of our ‘Plywood’, which we specified as the raw material in the production of our bobbins and which have inflammability and impermeability features as a result of our project that we realized in 2016, is foreseen as 5.250 pieces. Monthly consumption quantity for ‘Plywood Cases’ which we designed for our suppliers who prefer to realize their deliveries through cargo, with the aim to provide more protection and safety as per various dimensions and diameters being specified, is 1.000 pieces.
As a company, how was your performance in production, sales, and growth rate in year 2016 and in the first half of year 2017? With which growth rate did you leave this period behind with respect to turnover and sales ? Can we learn about your targets for the end of year 2017 and the following periods with respect to production, turnover, and growth ?
When our company data are compared with those of previous years, we observe that in year 2016, our company has shown a growth of %200 as being an increase in production, machinery-equipment, and turnover. Even though we are only in the middle of year 2017, by showing an increase that is higher than the one achieved at the end of 2016, as a company we have left the ratios of year 2016 behind both with regards to product sales and with respect to turnover. As of the end of year 2017 and the beginning of 2018, apart from the ongoing investment of our company, with the machinery and equipment investments of 3.000.000, we are targeting to increase our production capacity each and every day.
By telling about your research and development and production development studies as aiming for a production with high value addition, can you give information about your new product or product groups which you developed within this frame?
Our project, the studies and serial production of which were realized within the body of our company, as having features of impermeability and inflammability and being approved by KOSGEB, created demand exceeding our expectations and the relevant production activities are being realized without interruptions. In addition to this, we are targeting to achieve positive results in the near future with our project relating with ‘Flexible Plywood’ that we planned as aiming to eliminate the situations causing dashes and breakups, which we commenced in the middle of 2017 and the research and development stage of which is still continuing.
Can you tell us about your export works being realized as a company? What percent of your production are you supplying to domestic market and what percent are you supplying to foreign market? Within this frame, how much exports have you realized in year 2016 and in the first half of 2017? Can we learn about your export targets for the end of year 2017 and for the following periods?
Although we only have exports being realized to the Free Zone in the city of Kayseri, 11 pieces of cable and steel cable companies to whom our company supplies products in the domestic market, are using all of our products in the export markets. %3 of our production is being supplied for exports and %97 of it is supplied to the domestic market.
