We export about 35% of our production. Our work continues to increase this amount. We mainly export to middle east countries, african countries and turkic republics. When and how did göldağı kablo start its commercial activities? What would you like to say about your field of activity?

The commercial activity of our company has started in 1980’s. Cable production has been started in 1995 in sarıyer dıstrıct. Our company has moved to çorlu dıstrıct (of tekirdağ province) in 2008.

What would you like to say about your production facilities and employees?

Our production is made in 2 facilities as our copper facility and our cable facility. In our copper facility, we make production starting from cathode and in two melting furnaces (8 mm wire rod), 1 rough wire machine (thinning between 1, 20-4 and 5 mm) and 2 fine wire machines (thinning between 0, 19-0 and 50 mm).

On the other hand, our cable plant produces 0,6/1 kv cable by virtue of modern machines and equipments.

Our company has an experienced and learned working team. We have experienced engineers, technical employees, experienced machine operators as well as learned and experienced quality controllers who have worked in the sector for long years. This facts makes us to be one step ahead in the sector.

Can you give information about your products and their usage areas?

We produce all types of pvc, hffr, xlpe cables in 0.6/1 kv cable product range. Our products are used in all areas of our life including houses, schools, workplaces, hospitals and lighting and etc.

Does your company allocate budget for r & d and p & d works? At which stage are your r & d studies?

A budget is reserved for r & d and p & d activities according to needs.

As r & d works, we have made new and modern machinery and installation investments and modernization and improvement of existing machinery and equipments are being carried out. As p&d works, we carry out works such as feasibility works on the types of cables (such as solar cables) and add new products to our production range.

As göldaği cable, what kind of strategies will you follow this year? Have you created your roadmap to your goals?

Despite the recession in the economy and the problems in the sector we had a good year in 2019. In 2020, works were started to increase our existing production and sales by giving priority mainly to export which will be completed by the end of the year.

Can you inform us about the position of the cable in the sector and its power in the market?

There has been a big increase in our position in the sector in the last few years. We are among the first 8-10 companies thanks to our strong capital and high capacity production.
