Borsan Group, having a deep-rooted past of approximately 35 years in industry, manufacturing and trade sectors, is undertaking responsibility within the scope of “Nationwide Struggle against Inflation Program”. Mr. Mehmet Arbek Akay, the CEO of Borsan Group, announced their decision as to 10 percent discount on lighting and LED products of the Group.

Borsan Group, one of Turkey’s leading enterprises and headquartered in Samsun province, will also partake in the 10 percent discount movement applied within the scope of “Nationwide Struggle against Inflation Program” announced by Mr. Berat Albayrak, the Minister of Finance and Treasury.

Mr. Mehmet Arbek Akay, the CEO of Borsan Group, expressing that Turkey’s their group has accepted to fulfill every duty it can accomplish for Turkey’s future and betterment of the economy, said that Borsan Group will make 10 percent discount on lighting and LED products produced under the “Borled” brand of the group.

Borsan Group increased employment by 20 percent despite difficult economic environment Mr. Mehmet Arbek Akay, stated that Borsan Group consolidated the production of its 5 factories in the field of furniture, lighting and LED production, aluminum cable, copper cable and special design cable in Samsun province last year.

Consolidating our production in Samsun province by moving our factories in Istanbul and Italy gave us an operational competitive advantage while making positive contribution to the economic and social life of Samsun. We continue to make production in a very strong and competitive environment. We have a strong position in our domestic and export market in our field. The fluctuations in the economy have partially affected us, especially in the domestic market. However, Borsan is a very strong company. We very well know that global conflicts and economic uncertainties which are their reflection are normal in today’s world. We were prepared for the difficulties that might have occurred and had already taken our measures. we did not dismiss employees but on the contrary increased our employment by 20 percent only within Borsan Kablo as a result of the measures we have taken. We, as Borsan Group, provide direct employment to 2,200 people in total.” said Mr. Mehmet Arbek Akay stating that they increased their employment by 20 percent during the year in spite of the difficulties experienced in the economy.
