● Kabkom Kimya A.Ş. which was founded in 2011, started its operations in Istanbul in 2013 and has been established in order to address the compound needs of the cable industry of Turkey with its 27.000 m2 production facility including 11 thousand m2 closed and qualified staff members. Kabkom Kimya A.Ş., which continues to invest in all necessary infrastructure and technological improvement for this purposes, provides service to its business partners in the sector with right products and delivery on time. Our company, which adopts the principle of continuous development, increases the product variety by adapting to technological developments and sectoral demands.

●Our company has reached and exceeded its production and turnover targets without a deviation from its establishment until today.

We are also affected from the increase exchange rates which has began at the year 2017 and continued with increasing pace in the year 2018, but we believe that we will be getting closer to our objectives by the end of 2018 with making the necessary sacrifices and seeking alternative markets and new customers.

●We will start the manufacture of the HFFR sheath compounds primarily, then 15 types of filler material suitable for all kinds of cable production and processes and finally and especially we will start the mass production of ” Filtered Rubber Compounds in granular form ”.

Rubber Cable Compounds are compounds used to produce cables with high flexibility and resistance to air oil/grease related tensions, mechanical and thermal stresses and these cables are used in mobile equipment, mobile power sources, dams, ports, cold and heavy industrial environments. Our product range, which is varied for all these applications, is easily processable on both autoclave and CV (Continius Vulcanization) lines. In addition, our product range will be increased according to the our customer’s requests.

Every day we will continue to work on development of broader range of products and more sensitive product development to meet the needs of our customers. We work in development of HFFR compounds with low density and high LOI value and at the same time the improvement of the variety of tests and analyzes that we can do in our own premises. In the same scope, ISO 17025 Laboratory Quality Assurance Certificate was obtained by our company and it was aimed to provide a substructure of accreditation processes. Through these processes, we wish to increase the trust against the domestic producers and demand for our products from oversees whereases lack of both aforementioned issues are major handicaps for Turkey and our product variety will be widened and new products will be developed as a result of these studies and we are also proud for developments of a compound which is both conforming with Turkey and European CPR Building Regulations.

●We are a company with a total of 55 employees, we work together with a total of 15 engineers in our company. Chemistry Engineers worked in our company supervises and monitores our quality control process in 7 days and 24 hours. Rather than investing in production capacity, which is a priority in the sector, we have invested 250,000 USD to the quality control laboratory and the R&D laboratory in 2017. As a complement to this investment, we will invest an additional 150,000 USD to our R&D laboratory in 2018.

●In general, we have a target market with a focus on the Balkan countries, the MENA region and the Turkish republics, along with the Middle East and Eastern Europe region. For this purpose, the recognition of our company and the presentation of our products by participating in the fairs in our target markets are very important for us. We are a preferred supplier in the MENA region and northern European countries because of our infrastructure related products, which can meet the specific product requirements, as well as our compound work for cable production in accordance with climatic conditions. We also comply with the intense competitive environmentof the European market. We aim to reach our targets by exceeding our export performance of the year 2017 when we had exported %25 of our production with an additional %10 in 2018.

●Currently we are exporting to 16 countries in 3 continents. We are striving to increase this number even further.

●The most fundamental problem experienced in the sector is the non-standard production that is experienced in cable production as everyone knows. Although this is more of concern to our customers, it affects other compound producers like us negatively.

●Thanks to our experience in the sector, we fulfill the needs of the sectoral applications with our designs and productions. Besides, we are creating special solutions and special compounds designed by our engineers besides standard applications in the R & D department according to desires of our customer.

We got more interest, demand and support from foreign market that in domestic market, unfortunately changing the perception in domestic market is extremely hard, but despite the difficulties of the market we are continuing our way to become a GLOBAL COMPOUND MANUFACTURE without losing our faith in R & D with new investment plans.
