When the Exhibition event is over, evaluate and learn.
When does the exhibition end? Logically the exhibition event is officially over when the lights go out, the stands are dismantled and the cleaning staff move last decoration materials out of the exhibition venue. Empty halls…Some photos and memories remain…

But is it really over? Gurfil sales team thinks differently. First of all attending the Wire 2018 Exhibition in Dusseldorf, Germany was a great way to present our company to potential customers in addition to building relationships with existing clients. However, we always remember that our work doesn’t finish with the exhibition. It is vitally important to continue till the victorious end. What does it mean?
We believe that actually the most important job starts after the exhibition. Taking into account the experience of participation in previous trade fairs prior to the Wire 2018 we have developed an effective follow-up system. If you are confident about your follow-up steps, then your lead collecting activities at the show take on far more meaning and efficiency.

Based on our experience we know that to see the final results of the performance at the exhibition can take from six up to twelve months. At the same time, it is not easy to determine the real results of participation. One can take two months, another three years.

Sometimes exhibition contacts “shoot” in five years.

Can it be a reason to give up on a potential customer? Of course not. You just need to be patient and persistent. Follow-up isn’t just about closing sales. It’s also about gauging an event’s return on investment. We summarize in one final report that will act as a guideline for the planning of future shows, setting goals, and determining which acts are effective and which one we should avoid.

The organizers of the Wire rightly noted that «Wire and Tube in Düsseldorf once more proved this year that they are the most important events in the industry worldwide».
